Our Founder's Story

Principles of Faith Academy (PFA) was established by its founder, Karena Maultsby who has two children, one needing remedial strategies; meaning her child needed support and encouragement while learning at a slower pace, and the other child, an advanced learner, who also needed support and encouragement while learning at an accelerated pace.

Having two children at different learning capacities inspired her to offer a unique and specialized educational option. What she began to realize is that all students, no matter the learning level, need unconditional support and encouragement while they learn. Mrs. Maultsby has purposed in her heart to create a safe space for all students to feel supported and encouraged in their academic journey and in their walk with Jesus (Yeshua).

PFA prides itself on it's commitment in preparing its students academically, spiritually and emotionally for their future success.
